Tip #1: Supplement
Supplement: There are many skin supplements on the market but the one receiving the most hype when it comes to improved skin is collagen. Having tried several collagen supplements over the years without any noticeable improvement, left me skeptical but last year I participated in a consumer trial that left me a raving fan of a collagen that doesn’t just supplement your body, it actually activates your body to produce more collagen and it suppresses the genes that destroy collagen leaving your skin ( and mine) glowing within days not to mention a myriad of other health benefits that will be coming your way (see chart below). And this liquid collagen is so easy to use, just twist the top and enjoy a little shot of this powerful elixir and watch your skin magically improve. It’s so good there’s even a 30 day guarantee. Tip #2: Hydrate
Hydrate: One of the easiest things you can do is to stay hydrated. You can’t have healthy skin if you are dehydrated. Skins of dehydration include: itchiness, dry, scaly patches, sunken eyes and dry lips.
Dry skin is not the same as dehydration. Dry skin will not necessarily improve with hydration.
Tip #3: Protect
Use Sunscreen: Exposure to sunlight can cause premature aging and worsen existing fine line appearances. It is crucial to protect your skin from damaging UV rays by wearing a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily with at least SPF 30. If you wear foundation, consider purchasing one with sunscreen formulated into your foundation.

Tip #4: Nourish
Serums and Creams: Incorporating products containing retinoids into your skincare routine has been widely recognized as effective in reducing fine lines over time. Retinoids encourage cell turnover rates that help plump up wrinkles for firmer-looking skin texture. Creams containing hyaluronic acid and vitamin C have also been shown to be helpful.
Tip #5: Stimulate
Laser Therapy: Another popular option for those looking to get rid of fine lines and wrinkles without undergoing drastic measures like surgery or injections is laser therapy. The technology uses beams from lasers which penetrate deep into the dermis layer allowing for collagen production at a cellular level; this effectively tightens up sagging areas while improving texture overall.
Tip #6: Slow the Decline
Slow Aging: Working from the inside out with various supplements is a proven way to slow aging and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The only supplement actually proven to slow aging by the National Institute of Health is a supplement called Protandim Nrf2. (See study here.)
